The inquiry form on contact.html and the homepage writes down your name, phone, email, address if you give one, the kind of enquiry you picked, your notes, the setup you specified, and the tick confirming consent to be contacted. Alongside that, the form itself records your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the page that referred you, and the moment the form rendered and the moment you sent it.

The support chat keeps the conversation and a token in your browser so you can leave and come back to the same thread. If you give a name, phone or email inside chat, that's stored with the transcript.

A single cookie, site_consent_v2, stores whether you allowed or declined storage — nothing else on this site persists a choice in a cookie. Volcemood is based in Texas and the enquiry database sits with a US hosting provider. Google, Microsoft and Meta each process data outside the United States as part of running their own advertising infrastructure, including in Ireland. Where that happens, it's covered by each platform's own transfer safeguards — standard contractual clauses and the platform's published data protection terms — rather than anything Volcemood arranges itself.

Every page on this site including the form and chat is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the enquiry database and chat transcripts is limited to the two people on the support team and the engineers who need a ticket to reproduce a latency report. The honeypot fields on the form — company and website — are never shown to a real visitor and exist only to catch automated spam before it reaches a human inbox. Volcemood takes no card data and no payment on this site, so there is none to protect.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data held about you, correct it, have it erased, restrict how it's used, receive a portable copy, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time with no effect on anything processed before that. None of these rights costs anything to exercise, and none requires you to explain why you're asking.

This site is not directed at children and Volcemood does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child submitted the form or the chat, write to us at the address below and it will be removed.

You can complain to your state Attorney General, and California residents can complain to the California Privacy Protection Agency. Visitors covered by the GDPR can complain to their own country's data protection authority. Volcemood would rather you write to us first at the email below so we can actually fix it, but you are not required to.
